INFORMAL CONTRACT

This Informal Contract is entered into on [Date] between [Client's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Client", and [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Freelancer".

Scope of Work

The Freelancer agrees to provide graphic design services to the Client as outlined in discussions held on August 15, 2050, and subsequent communications via email. The scope of work includes:

1. Creation of a Logo Design:

   • Develop a unique and visually appealing logo that aligns with the Client's brand identity and vision.

   • Provide multiple design concepts for the Client's review and feedback.

   • Refine the chosen concept based on Client feedback to ensure satisfaction.

   • Deliver the final logo design files in various formats suitable for both print and digital use.

2. Design of Business Cards:

   • Design professional and eye-catching business cards that incorporate the newly created logo and essential contact information.

   • Present multiple design options for the Client's consideration.

   • Incorporate any specific preferences or branding guidelines provided by the Client.

   • Finalize the chosen design based on Client feedback and deliver print-ready files.

3. Development of Social Media Graphics:

   • Create engaging and on-brand graphics for the Client's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).

   • Design graphics tailored for various social media formats, including profile pictures, cover photos, posts, and advertisements.

   • Ensure consistency in branding elements across all social media graphics.

   • Provide flexibility for future updates or changes to accommodate evolving social media strategies.

4. Additional Graphic Design Tasks:

   • Undertake any supplementary graphic design tasks as mutually agreed upon during the project duration.

   • This may include but is not limited to designing marketing materials, promotional banners, packaging designs, or any other graphic assets required by the Client.

   • Prioritize effective communication and collaboration to address any new requirements or modifications to the project scope.

Timeline

The Freelancer will deliver the initial logo design concepts to the Client within 7 business days of receiving the necessary information and materials. Revisions and finalization of designs will be completed within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe.

Payment Terms

The Client agrees to pay the Freelancer a total fee of $500 for the graphic design services provided. Payment will be made in two installments:

1. Initial Payment:

   • The Client shall pay 50% of the total fee upon acceptance of the initial logo design concepts.

   • This payment signifies the Client's commitment to proceed with the project and covers the initial design phase.

   • Upon receipt of the initial payment, the Freelancer will commence work on the agreed-upon deliverables.

2. Final Payment:

   • The remaining 50% of the total fee shall be paid upon completion and delivery of all finalized design materials.

   • Final deliverables will be provided to the Client after necessary revisions and adjustments have been made to meet their satisfaction.

   • Payment for the final installment indicates the Client's acknowledgment of the completed project and receipt of all agreed-upon design assets.

   • Upon receipt of the final payment, the Freelancer will transfer ownership of the design files to the Client and conclude the project.

Ownership and Usage Rights

Upon receipt of full payment, the Client will have full ownership and unrestricted usage rights to the final design materials. The Freelancer retains the right to showcase the completed work in their portfolio or promotional materials.

Confidentiality

Both of the involved parties are in agreement and have mutually consented to preserve and uphold the confidentiality of any sensitive or potentially damaging information that may be shared, revealed, or circulated throughout the project.

Termination

Any party involved in this agreement holds the right to bring it to a termination, provided they give notice in written format if the other party involved in this agreement does not meet their responsibilities and obligations as outlined and stated within the terms of this contract.

Governing Law

This informal contract shall be governed by and construed under the laws of [Jurisdiction].
