SECONDMENT AGREEMENT

This Secondment Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between:

  • [Firstment Employer Name], a [Legal Entity Type] incorporated under the laws of [Jurisdiction], with its principal place of business located at [Address] ("Firstment Employer"),

  • [Host Employer Name], a [Legal Entity Type] incorporated under the laws of [Jurisdiction], with its principal place of business located at [Address] ("Host Employer"),

  • [Employee Name], residing at [Employee Address], ("Employee").

1. Secondment Details

The Firstment Employer agrees to second the Employee to the Host Employer for 12 months, commencing on January 1, 2050, and terminating on December 31, 2050, subject to renewal or extension by mutual agreement between the parties.

2. Scope of Work

During the secondment period, the Employee shall perform the following duties and responsibilities as directed by the Host Employer:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns for new product launches.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating corporate events, including trade shows and conferences.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Host Employer's management team on project progress and outcomes.

The objectives and deliverables for the secondment period include:

  • Increase brand awareness by 20% within the target market.

  • Generate leads and inquiries resulting in a 15% increase in sales revenue.

  • Successfully launched two new product lines by the project timeline and budget.

Any other relevant details about the Employee's role and responsibilities during the secondment period will be communicated by the Host Employer as needed.

3. Reporting Structure

The Employee shall report to [Supervisor/Manager Name] at the Host Employer for the duration of the secondment. The Host Employer shall provide necessary guidance, supervision, and support to the Employee to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.

4. Compensation and Benefits

Throughout the secondment period, the Employee will remain on the payroll of the Firstment Employer and will continue to receive the regular salary they were accustomed to before the commencement of the secondment. In addition to this, all the benefits and allowances that they were eligible for notably, will remain unchanged and will continue being facilitated by the Firstment Employer. It should be noted, however, that should the Employee have to bear any additional costs resulting from their secondment, the Host Employer must reimburse said Employee. The reimbursement is to be made according to the established policies put forth by the Host Employer to manage such expenses.

5. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

The Employee agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information disclosed during the secondment, by the confidentiality policies of both the Firstment Employer and the Host Employer. Any intellectual property created by the Employee during the secondment shall be owned by the Host Employer.

6. Termination and Return

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon 30 days written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Employee shall return to their position with the Firstment Employer, and the parties shall cooperate to ensure a smooth transition, including the handover of any ongoing projects or responsibilities to ensure continuity of operations.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].
