Dance Instructor Contract

This Dance Instructor Contract (“Contract”) is made on the [Date] between [Dance Studio], with its primary address at [Dance Studio Address] (hereinafter referred to as "Studio") and [Dance Instructor Name] with address at [Dance Instructor Address] (hereinafter referred as "Instructor").

I. SERVICES

The Instructor agrees to provide dance instruction services to the Studio according to the following terms:

Type of dance: Ballet
Level of instruction: Intermediate
Duration: 1-hour classes
Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: [Location]

II. COMPENSATION

The Studio agrees to compensate the Instructor for their services according to the following terms:

Hourly rate: $50 per hour
Payment method: Direct deposit
Invoicing: Monthly
Additional expenses: None

III. TERM AND TERMINATION

This Contract shall commence on [Start Date] and shall continue until terminated by either party.

Termination: This Contract can be terminated by either party, but it is required that a written notice be provided to the other party. This written notice of termination should be given at least 30 days in advance of the intended termination date.

Consequences of termination: Should there be any outstanding payments at the time of termination, they are required to be settled within 15 days following the termination date. In addition, any materials that were provided by the Studio during the period of the agreement must be returned with immediate effect once the termination takes place.

IV. LIABILITY

The Instructor must ensure they are covered by a comprehensive liability insurance policy that fully addresses any accidental harm or damage that could happen during dance instruction periods, irrespective of the cause, whether it's unintentional, negligent, or unforeseen circumstances. This insurance must be kept current to safeguard both the Instructor and the students against unanticipated financial strain, covering these possible incidents adequately.

V. INDEMNIFICATION

The Instructor agrees with the understanding that they will assume responsibility for any possible claims, liabilities, or expenses that may surface as a result of their performance related to this Contract. Furthermore, the Instructor also agrees to absolve the Studio from any responsibility for suffering or losses related to such claims, liabilities, or potential expenses.

VI. CONFIDENTIALITY

During the designated dance instruction times, if any confidential information is exchanged, all parties involved have agreed to keep this information strictly confidential to prevent any unauthorized access or exposure, as per their mutual agreement.

VII. GOVERNING LAW

This contract encompassing all its specifications, terms, conditions, and stipulations, is governed by, and must therefore be construed within the context of, the existing laws and legal framework in effect within the jurisdiction of [State/Country].
