Artist Booking Contract


This Artist Booking Contract (the "Contract") is made and entered into as of [Insert Date] (the "Effective Date"), by and between [YOUR NAME], hereinafter referred to as (the "Artist"), and [Client's Name], hereinafter referred to as (the "Client")

1. Services

The Artist enters into a Contract according to which he or she pledges to provide live musical entertainment for the corporate event that the Client is planning. This includes the promise of delivering a performance set scheduled to last for three hours.

2. Date, Time, and Location

The event will take place on May 10, 2050, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Grand Ballroom, Starlight Hotel, 789 Broadway Avenue, Cityville, USA.

3. Payment Terms

The Client agrees to pay the Artist a total fee of $2000 for the services rendered. Payment shall be made as follows:

  • 50% deposit ($1000) upon signing of this contract.

  • 50% balance ($1000) due on the day of the event, payable via bank transfer.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Client Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation 30 days or more before the event: Full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellation less than 30 days before the event: Forfeiture of the deposit.

4.2 Artist Cancellation Policy

  • The Artist shall provide at least 30 days' notice to the Client and will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement or reschedule the event.

5. Obligations of the Parties

5.1 Client Obligations:

The Client shall provide adequate facilities for the Artist's performance, including a staging area, sound system, and appropriate lighting.

5.2 Artist Obligations:

The Artist shall arrive at the venue at least one hour before the scheduled performance time and shall be ready to perform at the agreed-upon time.

  • Both parties shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the event.

6. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under this Contract if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, or natural disasters.

7. Indemnification

Each party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the other party from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to their performance under this Contract.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under or related to this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively through arbitration in Los Angeles, California, by the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

9. Entire Agreement

This Contract constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
