The Grant Writer agrees to provide grant writing services to the Client according to the following scope of work:

1.1 Researching Potential Grant Opportunities

The process I am engaged in involves conducting extensive research on potential grant opportunities that are available from various government agencies, foundations, and corporations.

1.2 Drafting Grant Proposals

The process of drafting compelling grant proposals that are specifically tailored to meet the unique requirements of each funding opportunity.

1.3 Revisions and Edits

The service provided includes up to two rounds of modifications or revisions that are entirely dependent on the feedback received from the client.

1.4 Assistance with Additional Documentation

The responsibility of helping out in the process of compiling necessary supporting documents, which usually include critical components such as budgets and extensive information about the organization, is pivotal.

1.5 Follow-Up Communication

I must communicate with grant providers frequently to clarify the guidelines of the application process or to answer any questions that may arise.

2. Payment Terms:

The Client agrees to compensate the Grant Writer for services rendered as follows:

2.1 Fee Structure

A payment is required in the form of a flat fee which is set at $500. This fee applies to each grant proposal that is completed.

2.2 Payment Schedule

Upon the submission of the grant proposal to the respective funding organization, there is a timeframe of 30 days within which the appropriate payment should be made. It is therefore expected that the payment should be settled within these 30 days following the submission of the grant proposal.

2.3 Method of Payment

The individual or entity responsible should make the necessary payment using a bank transfer, and this transaction should be directed towards the account belonging to the individual or entity who carried out the grant writing duties.

3. Deadlines:

Both parties agree to adhere to the following deadlines:

3.1 Draft Proposal Submission

The individual occupying the role of the Grant Writer will have the responsibility to prepare a draft for each grant proposal. Once all the necessary information and materials have been received by the Grant Writer, they will then provide the Client with the draft within a time frame of 10 business days.

3.2 Feedback and Revision Period

Upon receiving draft proposals from the Grant Writer, the Client will take a timeframe of 5 business days within which they will provide their feedback. In addition to this, they will also communicate any revisions they want to be made to the proposals that were initially drafted by the Grant Writer.

3.3 Final Proposal Submission

The application deadline for any grant proposal is a critical marker that we must respect. With that in mind, the final, polished versions of these proposals will be diligently prepared for submission. They will be handed over to their respective funding organizations in a timely and punctual manner. We will ensure that this is done no later than 5 business days before the deadline. By adhering to this schedule, we hope to decrease the likelihood of any potential errors that could occur due to last-minute submissions and increase our chances of securing the grant.

4. Intellectual Property Rights:

The Client acknowledges that all work produced by the Grant Writer, including grant proposals, drafts, and supporting documents, are the intellectual property of the Grant Writer until payment is received in full. Upon payment, all intellectual property rights to the grant proposals and related materials shall transfer to the Client.

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during this agreement. The Grant Writer agrees not to disclose any confidential information obtained from the Client to any third party without prior written consent from the Client. Likewise, the Client agrees not to disclose any confidential information provided by the Grant Writer without prior written consent.

6. Termination:

Either party may terminate this Contract upon written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the Client shall compensate the Grant Writer for any work completed up to the termination date based on the agreed-upon payment terms.

7. Governing Law:
