Hall Rental Contract

This Hall Rental Contract ("Contract") is entered into on [Date] between [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Hall Owner," and [Renter's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Renter," collectively referred to as the "Parties."

 

I. Rental Details

1.1 Date of Event: The rental period shall commence on [Start Date] at [Start Time] and shall conclude on [End Date] at [End Time].

1.2 Location: The hall located at [Hall Address], including any specified areas such as the main hall, foyer, and kitchen facilities, shall be rented for the duration specified herein.

1.3 Rental Fee: The Renter agrees to pay a rental fee of [Amount] for the specified rental period.

1.4 Security Deposit: A security deposit of [Amount] is due upon signing this Contract and shall be refunded to the Renter within [Number of Days] days after the event, subject to the terms and conditions herein.

II. Permitted Use

2.1 The hall shall be used solely for the Wedding event, as agreed upon by the Parties. Any additional activities must be approved by the Hall Owner in writing.

2.2 The Renter shall not use the hall for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to activities that may cause damage to the premises or disturb other tenants.

III. Responsibilities of Parties

3.1 Hall Owner Responsibilities

(a) Provide access to the hall at the agreed-upon times, including setup and teardown times.

(b) Ensure the hall is clean and in good condition at the commencement of the rental period.

(c) Provide basic facilities and equipment as agreed upon, including tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment.

(d) Maintain liability insurance covering the premises.

3.2 Renter Responsibilities

(a) Adhere to the agreed-upon rental duration and event schedule.

(b) Obtain any necessary permits or licenses for the event, including but not limited to liquor licenses or permits for amplified music.

(c) Arrange for security personnel if deemed necessary by the Hall Owner.

(d) Ensure the premises are left in a clean and orderly condition after the rental period.

(e) Be responsible for any damages to the premises or equipment caused by the Renter or their guests.

IV. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 The Renter may cancel this Contract by providing written notice to the Hall Owner at least [Number of Days] days before the event. In such cases, a full refund of rental fees paid, excluding the security deposit, shall be issued.

 

4.2 The Hall Owner reserves the right to cancel this Contract at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, facility damage, or safety concerns. In such cases, a full refund shall be provided to the Renter.

V. Insurance and Liability

5.1 The Renter shall obtain liability insurance covering the event and shall provide proof of insurance to the Hall Owner upon request. The insurance policy shall name the Hall Owner as an additional insured party.

5.2 The Hall Owner shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during the rental period, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

VI. Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contract shall be resolved through arbitration in [City], [Jurisdiction].
