Makeup Artist Bridal Contract
MAKEUP ARTIST CONTRACT
This Bridal Makeup Artist Contract ("Contract") is entered into as of [EFFECTIVE DATE] ("Effective Date"), by and between [Your Company Name], having its principal place of business at [Your Company Address], hereinafter referred to as the "Makeup Artist", and [Client's Name], located at [Client's Address], hereinafter referred to as the "Client".
1. SERVICES
In exchange for the detailed compensation that is outlined in Section 3: Clause 3.4 of this Contract, the individual professional who is designated as the Makeup Artist explicitly agrees to provide their expertise and services towards styling and doing makeup for the Client's wedding event. This service will occur specifically on the date mentioned in brackets as [ENTER WEDDING DATE]. This commitment to provide service at the agreed time is part and parcel of the whole agreement provided by this Contract, and hence, is subject to the respective terms and conditions spelled out herein.
2. SCHEDULING
The Client shall provide the Makeup Artist with a schedule that indicates the services required, the number of individuals requiring services, and the desired completion time. Makeup Artist shall arrive at the designated location by the Client at [ARRIVAL TIME].
3. PAYMENT
The Client agrees to pay the Makeup Artist a total fee of [TOTAL FEE], with a non-refundable deposit of [DEPOSIT AMOUNT] due upon signing this Contract. The remaining balance is due by the Client on or before [DUE DATE].

3.3 Balance Deadline: The Client must settle the remaining balance of the agreed-upon fee on or before the designated due date, as stated in the contract. Failure to meet this deadline may result in cancellation of services or additional charges.
3.4 Compensation Agreement:
The agreed total fee for the makeup services is outlined, with a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be settled by the client before the due date specified in the contract.
3.5 Late Payment Policy:
In the event of late payment beyond the specified due date, a penalty fee may be incurred. The Makeup Artist reserves the right to withhold services until full payment is received.
3.6 Payment Methods:
Accepted payment methods, such as cash, bank transfer, or online payment platforms, are detailed for the client's convenience. Any additional fees associated with specific payment methods are the responsibility of the client.
4. CANCELLATION
In case the client chooses to cancel within a specified period of [DAYS BEFORE EVENT] days before the Event, then the Client is obligated to pay a cancellation fee. The amount to be paid by the Client in this situation will be a specific percentage of the remaining balance, quantified as [PERCENTAGE].
5. OBLIGATIONS OF THE MAKEUP ARTIST
The Makeup Artist guarantees to use high-quality, hypoallergenic makeup and skin products and agrees to maintain a high standard of hygiene in terms of their tools and equipment.
5.1 Product Quality Assurance: The Makeup Artist commits to utilizing premium, hypoallergenic makeup, and skincare products to ensure client satisfaction and minimize allergic reactions.
5.2 Hygiene Standards: Maintaining meticulous hygiene practices, the Makeup Artist pledges to regularly sanitize and clean their tools and equipment, safeguarding the health and well-being of their clients.
5.3 Continuous Professional Development: The Makeup Artist agrees to stay updated with the latest industry standards and techniques, striving for continual improvement in their craft to provide clients with exceptional service and results.
6. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT
The Client agrees to disclose any known allergies or skin sensitivities, that may be affected by the make-up or beauty products to be used.
6.1 Full Disclosure: It is imperative for the client to openly communicate any known allergies or skin sensitivities to ensure the makeup artist or beauty professional can select appropriate products and techniques.
6.2 Health Considerations: By revealing allergies or sensitivities, the client assists in maintaining their health and safety during the application process, avoiding any adverse reactions or complications.
6.3 Collaborative Care: Honesty about allergies or sensitivities fosters a collaborative relationship between the client and the makeup artist, ensuring the makeup application process is tailored to the individual's specific needs and concerns.
7. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
The Client agrees that the Makeup Artist may use any photography for purposes of its portfolio, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
7.1 Photography and Media Usage: The Makeup Artist has been given clear authorization to utilize any client photographs in various ways, including additions to their portfolio, use in widespread advertising, or strategically for career promotion purposes.
7.2 Portfolio and Promotional Material: The Client grants the Makeup Artist the right to use any photographs for their portfolio, and for advertising and promotional purposes, to increase the market awareness of the Makeup Artist's expertise and work.
7.3 Usage of Photography: By agreeing to this contract, the Client allows the Makeup Artist to use any captured imagery for their portfolio, advertisements, and promotional activities.
7.4 Client Photography Consent: The Client consents to the Makeup Artist's use of any photography for portfolio, advertising, and promotional purposes.
7.5 Photography Release: The client gives the makeup artist full authority to use any service-related images for portfolio, advertising, and promotional purposes. The use and timing of these images solely rests on the makeup artist's discretion.
8. INDEMNIFICATION
It is mutually understood and agreed between both parties that they will individually and collectively hold each other harmless and not be held accountable for any damages, injuries, or any claims that may emerge or arise as a consequence of the services provided under the provisions outlined in this Contract.
9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This contract encapsulates the full scope of the agreement that exists between the involved parties. It effectively overrides and takes precedence over all previous agreements or understandings that may have been established, regardless of whether they were communicated verbally or articulated in writing.
