DELIVERY DRIVER CONTRACT
This Delivery Driver Contract ("Contract") is entered into as of [Date] (the "Effective Date") by and between [Your Company Name], having its principal place of business at [Your Company Full Address] ("Company") and [Delivery Driver's Name], located at [Delivery Driver's Full Address] ("Driver"). Both parties shall collectively be referred to hereafter as "Parties".
1. Scope of Work
1.1 Delivery Services
The Driver shall provide delivery services as classified under the terms of the Contract to the Company. This includes but is not limited to deliveries of goods, documents, or other items as required by the Company. The specific details of the delivery services, including delivery routes, schedules, and customer interaction protocols, are outlined in this Contract and may be updated by mutual agreement of the Parties.
1.2 Additional Duties
In addition to delivery services, the Driver may be required to perform ancillary tasks related to the delivery process, such as maintaining delivery records, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the safety and security of delivered items.
2. Terms and Conditions
2.1 Contract Duration
The term of this Contract shall commence on [Contract Date] and continue indefinitely until terminated by either party under the provisions of Section 6.
2.2 Performance Standards
The Driver agrees to perform all delivery services professionally, adhering to the Company's standards, policies, and procedures. This includes maintaining a neat and professional appearance, following traffic laws and safety guidelines, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
3. Responsibilities
3.1 Vehicle and Equipment
The Driver must provide a suitable vehicle for performing delivery services under this Contract. The vehicle must be well-maintained, registered, insured, and compliant with all legal, insurance, and safety requirements for operating on public roads.
3.2 Compliance with Laws
The Driver agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to delivery services, including but not limited to traffic laws, vehicle maintenance requirements, and COVID-19 safety protocols.
4. Payments and Compensation
4.1 Payment Terms
The Company agrees to compensate the Driver at a rate of $15.00 per hour for services rendered under this Contract. Payment shall be made on the last Friday of each month.
4.2 Reimbursement
In addition to hourly compensation, the Company may reimburse the Driver for reasonable and documented expenses incurred during the performance of delivery services, such as fuel costs or toll fees.
5. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
5.1 Confidential Information
The Driver agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary and confidential information received from the Company, including but not limited to customer lists, delivery routes, business strategies, and trade secrets.
5.2 Non-Disclosure Agreement
The Driver shall not disclose any confidential information to third parties without prior written consent from the Company and shall take all necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of such information.
6. Termination and Notice
6.1 Termination Clause
Either party may terminate this Contract by providing thirty (30) days written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Driver shall return all Company property and settle any outstanding payments or obligations.
6.2 Immediate Termination
The Company reserves the right to terminate this Contract immediately in the event of the Driver's material breach of contract, violation of laws or regulations, or actions that jeopardize the Company's reputation or business interests.
7. Indemnification and Liability
7.1 Indemnity Clause
The Driver agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from the Driver’s actions, negligence, or failures to act in performing delivery services under this Contract.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
The Company's liability under this Contract shall be limited to the amount paid or payable to the Driver for the specific delivery services that gave rise to the claim, excluding any consequential or incidental damages.
8. Entire Agreement and Amendments
8.1 Entire Agreement Clause
This Contract constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between the Parties regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral, relating to such subject matter.
8.2 Amendments and Modifications
To be considered legally binding, any changes, alterations, or modifications that are proposed to this Contract need to be formalized in a written format and need to be authenticated by the signatures of both Parties involved in the agreement.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1 Applicable Law

9.2 Dispute Resolution
