Storage Rental Contract
STORAGE RENTAL CONTRACT
This Storage Rental Contract (“Contract”) is entered into by and between [Your Name] (“Owner”), having its principal place of business at [Your Company Address], and [Client's Name] (“Renter”), residing at [Renter's Address], effective on [Effective Date].
1. STORAGE UNIT
1.1 Description: The Storage Unit is a [size of the unit] enclosed space located at [Storage Facility Address]. The unit is designated as Unit #[Unit Number].
1.2 Condition: The Owner warrants that, at the commencement of the lease, the Storage Unit is clean, in good condition, and suitable for the storage of the Renter's property.
1.3 Use of the Unit: The Renter shall use the Storage Unit solely for the purpose of storing personal property, goods, or vehicles. The Renter shall not use the unit for any unlawful purposes or to store hazardous materials.
1.4 Access: The Renter shall have access to the Storage Unit during the facility's regular business hours, or as otherwise agreed upon by the Owner and Renter.
1.5 Alterations: The Renter shall not make any alterations or additions to the Storage Unit without the prior written consent of the Owner.
2. RENT FEES AND TERMS
2.1 Monthly Rent: The monthly rental payment for the Storage Unit is [amount] dollars, payable on the first day of every calendar month.
2.2 Payment Terms: Rent payments are due in advance. Late payments will incur a late fee of [Late Fee Amount] dollars if not received by the fifth day of the month.

5. DEFAULT

6.3 Abandoned Property: If the Renter fails to remove all items and vacate the Storage Unit upon termination, the Owner has the right to dispose of any remaining items at the Renter’s expense.
7. LEGAL COMPLIANCE
7.1 Compliance with Laws: The Renter agrees to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations regarding the use of the Storage Unit.
7.2 Insurance Requirement: The Renter must provide proof of insurance for their stored items upon request by the Owner.
7.3 Right of Entry: The Owner reserves the right to enter the Storage Unit at any time for inspection, maintenance, or other purposes.
8. GOVERNING LAW
8.1 Jurisdiction: This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State]. Any legal action arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be brought in the courts of [State].
