Work For Hire Photographer Contract

This Work For Hire Photographer Contract (hereinafter referred to as "Contract") is made effective as of the date of the 20th day of January 2055, by and between the following parties: [Your Name], (hereinafter referred to as “Client”), and [Photographer's Name] (hereinafter referred to as “Photographer”).

I. Terms of Service

The Photographer agrees to provide photography services as follows:

Scope of Work: The Photographer shall capture images at the [Event] scheduled to take place on [Date of Event] at [Location].
Number and Type of Photographs: The Photographer shall deliver high-resolution digital photographs in [File Format] format within 15 days after the completion of the event/project.

II. Compensation and Payment Terms

The Client agrees to compensate the Photographer according to the following payment schedule:

2.1 Total Fee

The total fee for the photography services shall be [Amount].

2.2 Payment Schedule

A non-refundable deposit of [Deposit Amount] is due at the signing of this Contract to secure the Photographer's services.
The remaining balance of [Remaining Balance Amount] is due 7 days before the event/project date.
Additional expenses, if any, incurred during the provision of services shall be invoiced separately and paid by the Client within 7 days of receipt of the invoice.

III. Cancellation Policy

If either party needs to cancel this Contract, the other party needs to be notified in writing. The following cancellation penalties apply:

If the Client cancels 30 days or more before the event/project date, the Client shall forfeit the non-refundable deposit.
If the Client cancels within 15 days of the event/project date, the Client shall be responsible for 30% of the total fee as liquidated damages.
In the event of cancellation by the Photographer due to unforeseen circumstances, the Photographer shall refund any payments made by the Client, excluding the non-refundable deposit, within 15 days of cancellation.

IV. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the term of this Contract, including but not limited to client lists, pricing structures, and trade secrets.

V. Termination Conditions

Either party may terminate this Contract with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of this Contract and fails to remedy such breach within 15 days of receiving written notice.

VI. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to seek mediation before pursuing litigation.

VII. Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed following the laws of [State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
