Child Care Contract

This Child Care Contract ("Contract") is entered into on [Date] between [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as "Parent(s)", and [Nanny Name], hereinafter referred to as "Nanny".

I. Services Provided:

The Babysitter/Nanny agrees to provide child care services for the Parent(s)' child(ren) as follows:

  • Supervision and care during agreed-upon hours.

  • Engaging in age-appropriate activities.

  • Providing meals and snacks as specified by the Parent(s).

  • Administering any necessary medication or following specific care instructions provided by the Parent(s).

  • Other duties as mutually agreed upon.

II. Hours of Care:

The parties agree to the following schedule for childcare services:

  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Start Time: 8:00 AM

  • End Time: 5:00 PM

  • Additional hours may be agreed upon in advance and compensated accordingly.

III. Rates of Pay:

Rates of Pay: The Parent(s) agree to compensate the Nanny at the rate of $15 per hour for regular hours and $20 per hour for any additional hours beyond the agreed-upon schedule. Payment shall be made bi-weekly.

IV. Specific Rules and Expectations:

The following rules and expectations shall apply during the provision of childcare services:

  • Dietary Restrictions: No peanuts or tree nuts to be included in meals. Any food allergies or dietary restrictions provided by the Parent(s) must be strictly followed.

  • Bedtime Routine: Children should be put to bed by 8:00 PM with a story. The babysitter/Nanny should follow the established bedtime routine provided by the Parent(s).

  • Screen Time Limits:

    Screen time is limited to 1 hour per day. Nanny should monitor and limit screen time activities for the children.

  • Safety Guidelines and Emergency Procedures:

    Nanny should be familiar with the fire escape plan and first aid procedures. In case of emergencies, the Nanny must contact 911 immediately and inform the Parent(s) promptly for any non-emergency situations.

  • Rules Regarding Visitors:

    No visitors are allowed during childcare hours unless authorized by the Parent(s) in advance.

  • Outings:

    The nanny may take children to the nearby park with parental permission. Any planned outings should be communicated to the Parent(s) beforehand.

  • Use of Household Appliances:

    The nanny may use the kitchen appliances to prepare meals for the children. However, Nanny should ensure all appliances are used safely and responsibly.

  • Other Relevant Rules or Expectations:

    Nanny should maintain a clean and safe environment for the children. Any concerns or incidents should be promptly reported to the Parent(s).

V. Communication:

The individual or individuals acting as the Parent or Parents, in conjunction with the person who is performing the roles and duties of the Babysitter or Nanny, have mutually agreed upon the necessity of maintaining an open line of communication which is underlined by respectfulness. This is especially about any potential concerns that might arise, alterations to the previously agreed schedule, or any updates that are directly connected to the care, well-being, and raising of the child or children involved.

VI. Termination:

Either party may exercise their right to terminate this Contract if they provide a written notice within the specified notice period of [Specify notice period] days. In circumstances where the contract is indeed terminated, any payments that are still outstanding will need to be settled in a prompt and timely manner.

VII. Confidentiality:

The individual who is acting as the Nanny has agreed and committed to uphold and protect the confidentiality of any personal data, sensitive material, or information that has been disclosed or shared by the Parent(s), about their family and their child or children. This information shall not be used, disclosed, or made accessible to any third party without the express and explicit approval or consent of the Parent(s).

VIII. Governing Law:

The governance and interpretation of this Contract shall be conducted and understood by the laws prevalent in the jurisdiction of [jurisdiction].
