Private Tutoring Contract

This Private Tutoring Contract ("Contract") is entered into between [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Tutor," and [Guardian's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Guardian," collectively referred to as the "Parties," on the effective date of the 20th day of January 2055.

1. Tutoring Services

1.1 Subject Matter: The Tutor agrees to provide tutoring services to the Student in the following subject(s): [List of subjects or topics].

1.2 Schedule: The tutoring sessions shall be conducted at the following times: [Specify days and times]. Any changes to the schedule shall be communicated and agreed upon by both Parties in advance.

1.4 Curriculum/Objectives: The Tutor shall develop a customized curriculum or learning plan tailored to the Student's needs and goals. The objectives of the tutoring sessions shall be agreed upon by both Parties and documented for reference.

2. Compensation and Payment Terms

2.1 Fees: The Guardian agrees to pay the Tutor a fee of [Amount] per session. Payment shall be made per tutoring session, with each session lasting one hour.

2.2 Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made weekly, with fees for the upcoming week due in advance. Payments for the first week of tutoring shall be made upon the signing of this Contract.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Guardian Cancellation: If the Student/Guardian wishes to cancel a scheduled tutoring session, they must provide at least 12 hour's notice to the Tutor. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the session fee being charged in full.

3.2 Tutor Cancellation: If the Tutor needs to cancel a scheduled tutoring session, they shall provide as much advance notice as possible to the Guardian. The Tutor shall make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time. If rescheduling is not possible, the session fee for the canceled session shall be refunded or credited toward future sessions, as agreed upon by both Parties.

4. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

4.1 Confidentiality: Both Parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any information shared during the tutoring sessions.

4.2 Non-Disclosure: The Tutor shall not disclose any confidential information obtained during the tutoring sessions to third parties without the prior consent of the Guardian.

5. Termination

5.1 Notice Period: Either Party may terminate this Contract by providing 30 days' written notice to the other Party.

5.2 Non-Performance: If either Party fails to fulfill their obligations under this Contract, the non-defaulting Party may terminate this Contract with immediate effect upon written notice.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be resolved through mediation, with both Parties agreeing to engage in good faith negotiations to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.

7. Signatures

This Contract may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original and all of which together shall constitute the same instrument.
