This Salon Employee Contract is made and entered into by and between [Salon Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Employer," and [Your Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Employee," effective as of the [Insert Date].
1. Job Title and Responsibilities
Description of Position:
The Employee shall be employed in the capacity of Senior Stylist. The primary responsibilities of this position shall include but are not limited to:

2. Compensation and Benefits
2.1 Salary/Wage
The Employee shall receive a base salary of $15 per hour.
2.2 Commission Structure
In addition to the base salary, the Employee may be entitled to a commission based on sales or performance, as outlined in a separate commission contract.
2.3 Bonus Structure
Bonuses may be awarded at the discretion of the Employer based on exceptional performance, meeting targets, or other criteria specified by the Employer.

3. Work Schedule
3.1 Weekly Hours
The standard workweek for the Employee shall consist of 40 hours.
3.2 Days and Hours of Work
The Employee's work schedule shall be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
3.3 Breaks and Lunch Periods
The Employee shall be entitled to two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break during the workday.
4. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
4.1 Protection of Salon's Confidential Information
During the term of employment and thereafter, the Employee agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information belonging to the Salon, including but not limited to client lists, business strategies, and financial information.
4.2 Non-Disclosure of Trade Secrets:
The Employee shall not disclose or use any trade secrets or proprietary information of the Salon for personal gain or the benefit of any other party.
5. Termination
5.1 Grounds for Termination
The employment relationship may be terminated by either party for the following reasons:

Breach of contract

Misconduct or violation of company policies

Performance issues

Other justifiable reasons as determined by the Employer
5.2 Notice Period
Either party shall provide a 2-week notice before termination of employment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
5.3 Severance Pay
In the event of termination without cause, the Employee may be entitled to severance pay as per applicable employment laws or company policy.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1 Dress Code
The Employee shall adhere to a professional dress code as determined by the Employer.
6.2 Professionalism
The Employee shall conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism at all times when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
6.3 Client Interaction
The Employee shall ensure courteous and respectful interaction with clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership of Work
Any work created or developed by the Employee during employment shall be the property of the Salon.
7.2 Use of Salon's Intellectual Property
The Employee shall not use the Salon's trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property without prior authorization from the Employer.
8. Non-Compete Contract
Restrictions on Working for Competitors
During the term of employment and for 1 year following termination, the Employee agrees not to engage in any business activities that directly compete with the Salon within a 10-mile radius.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Mediation
Any disputes arising out of or relating to this contract shall be resolved through mediation, conducted by a neutral third party agreed upon by both parties.
9.2 Arbitration
If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, the parties agree to submit the matter to binding arbitration under the rules of [Arbitration Service].
9.3 Governing Law
