Horse Boarding Release of Liability

This Horse Boarding Release of Liability ("Release") is entered into on this [DATE], between [HORSE OWNER NAME], ("Owner") and [YOUR NAME], ("Provider"), located at [YOUR COMPANY ADDRESS]. The Owner hereby agrees to board their horse at the Provider's stable under the terms and conditions outlined in this Release.

I. TERMS OF AGREEMENT

A. The Owner agrees to board their horse at the Provider's stable starting from [START DATE] and ending on [END DATE].

B. The Owner will compensate the Provider as outlined in [AMOUNT AND TERMS OF PAYMENT].

II. RESPONSIBILITIES

A. The Owner is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding the horse's health, behavior, and any special requirements.

B. The Owner agrees to promptly notify the Provider of any changes in the horse's health, behavior, or requirements during the boarding period.

C. The Owner will provide all necessary supplies, including feed, medication, and grooming materials unless otherwise agreed upon with the Provider.

D. The Provider agrees to provide appropriate care, including feeding, turnout, and stable maintenance, for the duration of the boarding period.

III. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

A. The Owner acknowledges and understands that horse-related activities, including boarding, carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage.

B. By signing this agreement, the Owner releases the Provider from any liability for injury, illness, or property damage that may occur to the horse, the Owner, or any third parties during the boarding period, unless such harm is a result of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the Provider.

IV. EMERGENCY CARE

A. In the event of a medical emergency involving the horse, the Provider will make reasonable efforts to contact the Owner or the designated emergency contact.

B. If the Owner cannot be reached, the Provider is authorized to seek emergency veterinary care for the horse, and the Owner agrees to be responsible for any associated costs incurred.

V. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT

A. Either party may terminate this agreement with [NUMBER OF DAYS] days' written notice to the other party.

B. In the event of termination, the Owner agrees to promptly remove the horse from the Provider's stable and settle any outstanding payments or fees.

C. The Provider reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately if the horse poses a threat to the safety or well-being of other horses, individuals, or property, or if the Owner fails to comply with the terms of this agreement.

VI. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS

The Owner acknowledges the inherent risks associated with boarding a horse at a stable, including but not limited to injury, sickness, and/or death of the horse. The Owner willingly assumes all risks associated with boarding their horse at the Provider's stable.

VII. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

The Owner hereby releases and forever discharges the Provider, its agents, employees, and volunteers from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with the boarding of the Owner's horse, including those allegedly attributable to negligent acts or omissions.

VIII. INDEMNIFICATION

The Owner agrees to indemnify and hold the Provider harmless from all claims, judgment, and costs, including attorney's fees, which may in any way arise from the boarding of the Owner's horse at the Provider's stable.

IX. REPRESENTATIONS

The Owner represents to the best of their knowledge; the horse is in good health and physical condition to be boarded at the Provider's stable.

The Owner and the Provider have duly executed this Horse Boarding Release of Liability Release as of the date first above written.
