I. Introduction

This Settlement Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on [DATE], by and between [PLAINTIFF'S NAME], hereinafter referred to as [PLAINTIFF], and [DEFENDANT'S NAME], hereinafter referred to as [DEFENDANT].

II. Background

[PLAINTIFF] has filed a claim against [DEFENDANT] arising from [Brief Description of Dispute or Injury]. The parties desire to settle their disputes and avoid further litigation.

III. Terms of Settlement

1. Compensation:
