Job Summary/Objective

The Salon Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations in our salon operations. This role combines accounting skills with business management skills to ensure financial health through audits, analyses, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and expense reports to maintain budget controls and financial stability.

  • Coordinate with salon managers to compile fiscal information, including taxes, lease agreements, and payroll to ensure legal compliance.

  • Implement and oversee cash flow management strategies, aiming for optimization and cost reduction where possible.

  • Facilitate financial audits by providing information and answers to auditors.

  • Advise salon management on financial decisions and help implement financial best practices in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the beauty or service industry.

  • Strong understanding of tax codes, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.

  • Certification as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferable.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
