Job Summary/Objective

B. Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.

  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs and special requests.

  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options to enhance guests' experiences.

  • Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in all guest interaction areas.

2. Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and cancellations accurately using hotel management software.

  • Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and electronic transactions, while adhering to financial policies and procedures.

  • Ensure the front desk area is organized, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Assist in training and supervising front desk staff to deliver excellent customer service and perform their duties efficiently.

3. Housekeeping:

  • Oversee housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.

  • Schedule and coordinate room cleaning and maintenance tasks to meet guest expectations and operational standards.

  • Inspect guest rooms and common areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.

  • Address any housekeeping issues or maintenance concerns promptly to minimize guest inconvenience.

4. Facilities Management:

  • Monitor and maintain hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and landscaping, to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and equipment installations as needed.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and implement preventive measures.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for facility management to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of hotel management principles and practices.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
