1. Enrollment and Tuition

3. Academic Policies

3.1 Attendance

3.1.2 Reporting Absences: Absences must be reported to the School office by the Parent/Guardian by [8:00 AM] on the day of the absence. The report should include the reason for the absence and the expected duration.

3.1.3 Documentation: For absences exceeding three consecutive days, a written explanation from a healthcare provider or other relevant authority may be required.

3.2 Conduct

This Handbook is incorporated into this Contract by reference and is available on the School’s website.

3.2.2 Behavioral Expectations: Students are expected to show respect for themselves, others, and School property. This includes following classroom rules, behaving appropriately in all School settings, and participating positively in the School community.

3.2.3 Disciplinary Actions: Violations of the code of conduct may result in a range of disciplinary actions depending on the severity and frequency of the infractions. These actions may include:

  • Warnings: Verbal or written warnings for minor infractions.

  • Detention: After-school or lunchtime detention for repeated or more serious infractions.

  • Suspension: Temporary removal from the School for serious or repeated violations.

  • Expulsion: Permanent removal from the School for the most severe violations or repeated failure to adhere to the code of conduct.

3.3 Academic Performance

3.3.1 Standards: The Student is required to maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by the School's academic standards. This includes achieving passing grades (generally a minimum of a C or 70% in all subjects), completing assignments on time, and demonstrating consistent effort and participation in class.

3.3.2 Assessment: Academic performance will be assessed regularly through various methods including:

  • Quizzes and Tests: Regular assessments to measure understanding and progress.

  • Projects and Assignments: Evaluation of homework, classwork, and projects.

  • Participation: Active and constructive participation in class discussions and activities.

3.3.3 Support Services: If the Student is struggling academically, the School may recommend additional support services such as tutoring, counseling, or academic coaching. The School will work with the Parent/Guardian to develop a support plan tailored to the Student's needs.

3.3.4 Probation and Dismissal: Failure to maintain satisfactory academic progress may result in academic probation, during which the Student will receive additional support and monitoring. Continued failure to meet academic standards may lead to dismissal from the School.

4. Termination of Contract

4.1 Termination by Parent/Guardian

4.1.1 Notice Requirement: The Parent/Guardian may terminate this Contract by providing written notice to the School at least [0] days before the end of a term. The notice must be submitted to the School administration and should include the reason for termination.

4.1.2 Non-Refundable Tuition: Tuition for the current term is non-refundable. Any prepaid tuition for subsequent terms will be refunded on a prorated basis, minus any applicable fees, provided the termination notice meets the required notice period.

4.1.3 Withdrawal Procedure: Upon termination, the Parent/Guardian must complete the official withdrawal procedure as outlined by the School, including returning any School property such as textbooks, uniforms, and equipment.

4.2 Termination by School

4.2.2 Code of Conduct Violations: The School reserves the right to terminate this Contract if the Student repeatedly violates the code of conduct, as detailed in the Student Handbook. This includes severe or repeated disciplinary issues that disrupt the learning environment or endanger the safety and well-being of other students and staff.

4.2.3 Non-Payment of Tuition: The School reserves the right to terminate this Contract if tuition payments are not made on time. A written warning will be issued if a payment is overdue by more than [0] days. If the payment is not received within [0] days after the warning, the Student will be suspended from classes and school activities until the account is settled. Continued non-payment will result in termination of the Contract.

4.2.4 Other Grounds for Termination: The School reserves the right to terminate this Contract for other significant reasons, including but not limited to, providing false information during the enrollment process, severe breaches of school policies, or actions that bring the School into disrepute.

In the event of termination by the School, the Parent/Guardian will be provided with written notice detailing the reasons for termination and the effective date. 5. Indemnity and Liability

5.1 Indemnity: The Parent/Guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the School, its employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to the Student's enrollment and participation in School activities.

5.2 Liability: The School shall not be liable for any injury or damage to the Student's person or property except where such injury or damage is due to the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the School.

6. General Provisions

6.1 Governing Law

6.1.1 Applicable Law: This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of [State]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Contract shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of [State].

6.2 Entire Agreement
