V. Responsibilities of the School

A. Safe Transportation

B. Trained Personnel

The School will hire and engage individuals who have received appropriate training and possess the necessary qualifications to serve as drivers and transportation aides. These personnel will be responsible for ensuring that transportation services are delivered in a manner that prioritizes safety and reliability for all passengers.

C. Emergency Procedures

The School will have put in place comprehensive and well-documented emergency procedures and protocols designed to address and manage any incidents or unforeseen events that may arise during the process of transporting students or staff.

VI. Student Conduct

A. Behavior Expectations

The Student is expected to behave respectfully and responsibly while on the bus. This includes following the bus driver's instructions, remaining seated, and not engaging in disruptive behavior.

B. Prohibited Items

The Student is prohibited from bringing any dangerous or prohibited items onto the bus. This includes, but is not limited to, weapons, alcohol, drugs, and other contraband.

C. Disciplinary Actions

In the event that the Student does not comply with or obey the established rules of conduct, it is possible that steps will be taken to discipline the Student. Such disciplinary actions could potentially encompass a range of consequences, including, but not limited to, the suspension of the Student’s privilege to use transportation services or the complete termination of access to those services..

VII. Termination of Agreement

A. Termination by Parent/Guardian

The Parent/Guardian may terminate this Agreement by providing [Number] days written notice to the School. Any prepaid transportation fees will be refunded on a prorated basis.

B. Termination by School

The School may terminate this Agreement for non-payment of fees, repeated misconduct by the Student, or other justifiable reasons. The School will provide [Number] days written notice of termination.

VIII. Liability and Insurance

A. Insurance Coverage

The School is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during transportation. To this end, the School will secure and maintain comprehensive liability insurance coverage.
