School Part-Time Teacher Contract

This School Part-Time Teacher Contract ("Contract") is made and entered into on this [Date] day of [Month], 2050, by and between:

RECITALS

WHEREAS, the School requires the services of a qualified part-time teacher to provide instructional services to its students;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:

I. Scope of Services

1.1 Teaching Responsibilities

The Teacher agrees to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver instructional lessons in accordance with the School’s curriculum and standards.
Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and grades as required.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any other required documentation.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions as required.
Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

1.2 Specific Tasks

1.3 Additional Services

II. Term and Termination

2.1 Term

Adhering to the School’s policies and procedures.
Maintaining confidentiality of student information.
Demonstrating respect and fairness towards students, parents, and colleagues.
Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

4.2 Classroom Management

The Teacher is responsible for maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. This includes:

Establishing clear expectations for student behavior.
Implementing effective classroom management strategies.
Addressing disciplinary issues promptly and appropriately.
Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

4.3 Compliance with Laws

The Teacher shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances in the performance of their duties under this Contract.

4.4 Insurance

The Teacher shall maintain personal liability insurance coverage as follows:

General liability insurance with a minimum coverage of [Amount] per occurrence. The Teacher shall provide the School with certificates of insurance evidencing such coverage upon request.

V. School Responsibilities

VII. Indemnification

The Teacher agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the School, its trustees, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in connection with the Teacher's performance of their duties under this Contract.
