As a Gym Receptionist at [Your Company Name], you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing them with a warm welcome and exceptional customer service. Greet Members and Guests: Offer a warm and friendly greeting to everyone who enters the gym. Provide information about gym services and membership options.
Manage Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and relay messages to appropriate staff. Maintain clear and professional communication at all times.
Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm personal training sessions, classes, and other appointments using the gym’s booking system. Provide reminders to clients and trainers.
Member Check-In: Efficiently check members in and out for their sessions. Manage access control to ensure only current members enter the gym facilities.
Sales Support: Assist with membership sales and promotions. Provide prospective members with tours of the gym facilities and explain the benefits of membership.
Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and processing payments. Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-organized.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve member complaints with professionalism and patience. Escalate complex issues to management as needed.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of member interactions, transactions, and visits. Ensure confidentiality and security of all gym records.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certification in Office Management or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service or reception, particularly in a gym or hospitality setting, is preferred.
