Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Officer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts to support business objectives.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to guide decision-making.
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

Budgeting and Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage departmental budgets.
Provide regular updates on financial projections and performance.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and records.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and manage the external audit process.

Cash Flow Management

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
Develop cash flow forecasts and implement strategies to optimize cash management.

Risk Management and Compliance

Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Financial Operations

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Implement and maintain financial systems and software.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Strategic Financial Initiatives

Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Provide financial analysis and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
