Position Overview
The Movie Theater Projectionist is responsible for operating and maintaining projection equipment to ensure that movies are presented in top quality. This role involves setting up films, adjusting sound and picture quality, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during screenings.
Primary Responsibilities

Operate projection equipment to display movies accurately and consistently.

Perform routine maintenance on projection and sound equipment.

Set up films and ensure they run smoothly before, during, and after screenings.

Monitor the quality of the picture and sound, making adjustments as needed.

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during film presentations.

Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in film or electronics a plus.

Previous experience as a projectionist preferred but not required.
