Job Title: Movie Theater Usher

You will be responsible for guiding guests to their seats, ensuring the cleanliness of theaters before and after screenings, and assisting in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Guest Assistance: Greet guests upon entry, check tickets, and guide them to their seats. Provide assistance to guests as needed, including accommodating special seating requests and addressing any immediate concerns.
Theater Cleanliness: Ensure that all areas of the theater, including auditoriums, lobbies, and restrooms, are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Perform routine checks before and after each screening to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guests.
Crowd Control: Manage the flow of guests entering and exiting theaters to prevent disruptions and ensure a smooth experience for all patrons. Assist in implementing emergency procedures if necessary.
Presentation Standards: Monitor theater environments to ensure that lighting, sound levels, and picture quality meet company standards. Report any issues to management promptly.
Concessions Assistance: Provide support to the concessions team during peak times, helping to serve guests quickly and efficiently.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure that theater policies regarding noise, phone use, and prohibited activities are followed, maintaining a pleasant viewing environment for all guests.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with moviegoers.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and move quickly between various parts of the theater.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as movie screenings are often during these times.
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
Capable of light lifting (up to 20 pounds) to help set up promotional materials or assist in cleaning.
Comfortable navigating darkened environments while carrying a flashlight during screenings.
