Key Responsibilities

Keep accurate financial records per standard accounting practices. |

Oversee payroll duties and ensure timely and accurate salary payments. |

Prepare financial reports for review by school management and the board. |

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations. |

Manage financial audits and implement audit recommendations. |

Liaise with other departments to discuss, analyze, and resolve financial issues. |

Continuously enhance financial processes for better efficiency. |
Qualifications and Requirements
Education |
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred. |
Experience |
A minimum of five years experience in an accounting role, preferably in an educational institution. |
Technical Skills |
Proficiency in advanced accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. |
Other |
Strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations and compliance requirements. |
