[Your Company Name] is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for the following duties:
Processing bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls accurately and timely
Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
Handling employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
Reconciling payroll accounts and preparing periodic payroll reports
Assisting with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution
Collaborating with HR and Finance on payroll-related issues and projects
To be considered for the Payroll Analyst position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
Proficiency with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar)
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional qualifications that will be considered a plus:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
Experience with multi-state payroll processing
Familiarity with HRIS systems
