Job Summary:

The Fitness Center Receptionist is the first point of contact for members and visitors. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, handling membership inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Key Responsibilities:

Greet Members and Guests:

  • Welcome all individuals entering the fitness center with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Answer questions and provide information about the fitness center's services, programs, and policies.

Membership Services:

  • Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.

  • Maintain accurate records of memberships and member information in the database.

  • Handle member complaints, issues, and feedback promptly and effectively.

Front Desk Management:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Schedule appointments for fitness consultations, classes, and other services.

  • Manage the check-in and check-out process for members and guests.

  • Process payments for memberships, classes, and retail items.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.

  • Monitor and restock promotional materials and retail products.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting.

Facility Operations:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the fitness center by coordinating with the maintenance and cleaning staff.

Qualifications:
