Position Overview
The Church Communications Director is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the church's mission, vision, and values. This role involves managing all internal and external communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective messaging across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for church events, programs, and initiatives.

Oversee content creation including newsletters, social media posts, press releases, and website updates.

Manage and expand the church’s presence on social media and other digital platforms.

Collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure cohesive messaging across all church activities.

Coordinate with media outlets and manage relationships with community partners.

Ensure all communication materials reflect the church's branding and values.

Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on communication best practices.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
