Script Title: A New Dawn

INT. COFFEE SHOP - MORNING

The coffee shop is bustling with the morning crowd. People are chatting, reading newspapers, and working on laptops. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air. JOHN (mid-30s, wearing a suit) stands in line, glancing at his watch nervously. Emma (late 20s, barista, bubbly personality) smiles warmly as she takes an order from the current customer.

EMMA (handing over the coffee): Here you go! Have a great day!

The customer nods and steps away. John steps up to the counter, still glancing around anxiously.

EMMA: Good morning! What can I get for you today?

JOHN (distracted): Uh, just a black coffee, please. To go.

Emma types the order into the register and looks at John curiously.

EMMA (concerned): Everything okay? You seem a bit... distracted.

JOHN (forcing a smile): Yeah, just running late for a big meeting.

Emma nods understandingly and starts preparing the coffee.

EMMA: Coming right up.

As she prepares the coffee, John receives a text message. He quickly reads it and frowns.

EMMA (handing over the cup): Here you go. Good luck with your meeting!

JOHN: Thanks. I’ll need it.

John takes the coffee and heads toward the door. Emma watches him leave, still concerned.

EXT. COFFEE SHOP - CONTINUOUS

John exits the coffee shop, stepping onto the busy sidewalk. He checks his watch again and starts walking briskly down the street.

JOHN (to himself): This day better turn around soon.

John disappears into the crowd as the scene transitions to a busy corporate skyscraper in the distance.
