Today, we come together to celebrate International Literacy Day—a day dedicated to acknowledging the incredible power of reading and writing. This day reminds us that literacy is more than just a skill; it is a gateway to endless opportunities and adventures.
Imagine a world without books, where stories and knowledge are out of reach. That’s a world we don't want to live in. Each book you open is a door to a new world. It can take you on thrilling adventures, teach you about different cultures, or help you understand complex ideas. Reading is like having a superpower that lets you explore limitless possibilities from wherever you are.
But why is reading so important? Well, reading helps you:
