Event Decoration Contract

1. Introduction

This Event Decoration Contract ("Contract") is made effective as of [Date], by and between Nova Brown ("Client") and Elegant Touch Decorators ("Decorator"). The Client and Decorator may collectively be referred to as the "Parties" for the purpose of this Contract.

2. Services

The Decorator agrees to provide the following decoration services for the Client's event:

  • Floral arrangements

  • Table settings and centerpieces

  • Lighting design

  • Backdrop setup

3. Event Details

4. Payment Terms

The total fee for the decoration services is $5,000. The payment schedule is as follows:

  • Deposit: $1,500 due upon signing of this Contract.

  • Balance: $3,500 due 30 days before the event date.

5. Cancellation Policy

If the Client cancels the event, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • More than 60 days before the event: 25% of the total fee.

  • 60 days or less before the event: 50% of the total fee.

6. Responsibilities

  • Decorator: The Decorator is responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the decoration services as outlined in this Contract.

  • Client: The Client is responsible for providing access to the event location and any necessary permissions or approvals for the decoration services.

7. Liability

The Decorator shall not be held liable for any damages or delays caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of nature, accidents, or government restrictions.

8. Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the state of [State].

9. Entire Agreement

This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes all prior agreements, oral or written, between the Parties regarding the subject matter of this Contract.
