I. Warranty Coverage

[YOUR COMPANY NAME] (hereinafter referred to as "The Contractor") warrants that all painting work performed on the above-mentioned property is free from defects in workmanship and materials, subject to the conditions outlined in this warranty. This warranty covers the following issues:

Peeling
Cracking
Flaking
Discoloration (not caused by exposure to chemicals or environmental factors beyond our control)

II. Warranty Period

This warranty is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of completion as indicated above. The warranty applies solely to the painting services provided by The Contractor and does not cover any defects arising from previous work not performed by The Contractor.

III. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by structural defects or settling of the building

Any work or repairs performed by another contractor or individual after the completion date

IV. Warranty Service

Should any defects covered by this warranty occur, the Property Owner must notify The Contractor in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. The Contractor will inspect the affected areas and, if deemed necessary, will perform all necessary repairs at no cost to the Property Owner. The Contractor reserves the right to determine the appropriate method of repair.

Transferability

This warranty is issued to the original Property Owner and is non-transferable. It is voided upon the sale or transfer of the property to a new owner.

V. Limitation of Liability

The Contractor’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or reapplication of the paint on the affected areas only. In no event shall The Contractor be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages related to the paint or services provided.

VI. Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Michigan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this warranty shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Michigan.
