I. Agreement Overview

A. Introduction

  1. This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made effective as of [Effective Date], by and between [Your Company Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Landlord," whose principal address is [Your Company Address], and [Tenant's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Tenant," whose principal address is [Tenant's Address].

  2. The Landlord and Tenant may collectively be referred to as the "Parties."

B. Term of Lease

IV. Responsibilities and Maintenance

A. Landlord’s Responsibilities

  1. The Landlord agrees to maintain the Premises in a habitable condition and to make necessary repairs to ensure the Premises are safe and livable.

  2. The Landlord shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the condition and safety of the Premises.

B. Tenant’s Responsibilities

  1. The Tenant agrees to keep the Premises in a clean and orderly condition and to notify the Landlord of any necessary repairs.

  2. The Tenant shall be responsible for any damage caused by their negligence or misuse of the Premises.

V. Use of Premises

A. Permitted Use

  1. The Premises shall be used exclusively as a residential dwelling by the Tenant and their immediate family members.

  2. The Tenant shall not use the Premises for any illegal or commercial purposes.

B. Prohibition of Subleasing

  1. The Tenant shall not sublease or assign the Premises to any other person or entity without the prior written consent of the Landlord.

VI. Termination

A. Termination by Landlord

  1. The Landlord may terminate this Agreement with 30 days' written notice if the Tenant fails to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  2. In case of termination, the Tenant must vacate the Premises by the specified date and return all keys and access devices to the Landlord.

B. Termination by Tenant

  1. The Tenant may terminate this Agreement with 30 days' written notice to the Landlord.

VII. Governing Law

A. Jurisdiction
