IV. Description:

Currently, the lead assignment rules in Salesforce are not correctly assigning leads to the appropriate sales representatives. This issue has been causing confusion and delays in lead follow-up, which impacts our sales performance and customer experience.

V. Acceptance Criteria:

  1. Correct Lead Assignment: Leads should be assigned based on the updated rules:

    • Leads from Region A should be assigned to Sales Rep [YOUR NAME].

    • Leads from Region B should be assigned to Sales Rep Jane Smith.

    • Leads from Region C should be assigned to Sales Rep Emily White.

  2. Error Handling: Any leads that fail to meet the criteria should be logged and flagged in a dedicated error log for further investigation.

  3. Testing and Validation:

    • Test cases should be created to verify that leads are assigned correctly based on the rules.

    • Validate that no leads are incorrectly assigned or missed.

  4. User Notification: Sales Representatives should receive a notification if the lead assignment fails due to any reason.
