A. Book by a Single Author

When citing a book written by a single author, the basic format includes the author's name, the book title in italics, the publisher, and the year of publication.

A. Article in a Scholarly Journal

Citing an article from a scholarly journal requires the author's name, the article title in quotation marks, the journal title in italics, the volume and issue numbers, the year of publication, and the page range.
