This Rectification Deed is made at [Location] on this [Date] day of [Month], [Year], between:

[Your Name], son/daughter/wife of [Parent/Spouse Name], residing at [Address], hereinafter referred to as the 'First Party', which term shall include their heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns of the First Party;

AND

[Name of Second Party], son/daughter/wife of [Parent/Spouse Name], residing at [Address], hereinafter referred to as the 'Second Party', which term shall include their heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns of the Second Party;

WHEREAS both parties had executed a Deed of Conveyance dated [Date of Original Deed], registered as Document No. [Registration Number] at the office of [Registrar Office Name] in respect of the property located at [Property Address], hereinafter referred to as 'Property'

AND WHEREAS due to some typographical errors/clerical mistakes in the Deed of Conveyance, the need for Rectification has arisen;

AND WHEREAS both parties have mutually agreed to execute this Rectification Deed to correct the errors/mistakes;

Corrections and Rectifications

The parties hereby declare, acknowledge, and confirm that the following corrections/rectifications are hereby made:

• The description of the property at clause [Clause Number] is hereby rectified to read as: [Corrected Description]

• The area of the property mentioned in [Clause Number] is hereby corrected to [Corrected Area]

• The boundaries of the property mentioned in [Clause Number] are hereby rectified to:

  • North: [Boundary Details]

  • South: [Boundary Details]

  • East: [Boundary Details]

  • West: [Boundary Details]

All other terms and conditions of the Deed of Conveyance dated [Date of Original Deed] shall remain unchanged and continue to be in full force and effect.

Execution and Effect

This Rectification Deed has been mutually agreed upon and executed by both parties to rectify the aforementioned errors/clerical mistakes. This Deed shall form an integral part of the original Deed of Conveyance dated [Date of Original Deed].
