I. The Parties
This Divorce Settlement Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of

The Parties agree on the following regarding child custody and support:
A. Child Custody
The Parties agree that physical and legal custody of the minor child(ren) shall be arranged as follows:

Joint Custody: If joint custody is awarded, the Parties shall share both physical and legal custody equally, with both parents having an equal role in making major decisions regarding the child(ren)'s welfare, education, and health.

Sole Custody: If sole custody is awarded, one parent shall have exclusive rights and responsibilities concerning the child(ren)'s primary residence and major decision-making.
B. Visitation
The non-custodial parent shall have visitation rights in accordance with the following schedule: Visitation will occur on alternate weekends, national holidays, and two weeks during the summer vacation. The Parties agree to coordinate mutually agreeable times for visits, with flexibility for special occasions and other events as needed.
C. Child Support
Child support payments shall be made by the non-custodial parent to the custodial parent in the amount of
D. Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, and Health Expenses
Both Parties shall maintain life insurance policies naming the child(ren) as beneficiaries. Each Party is required to carry medical insurance coverage for the child(ren). The Parties shall equally share all uninsured medical expenses, including but not limited to co-pays, deductibles, and prescription costs. Reimbursement for medical expenses shall be made within 30 days of receipt of proper documentation.
V. Fees and Costs
A. Attorney Fees and Costs
Each Party shall be responsible for their own attorney fees and costs associated with this Agreement, unless otherwise stipulated by mutual agreement or court order.
B. Mediation Fees and Costs
The Parties agree to share equally the fees and costs associated with mediation services undertaken to resolve disputes related to this Agreement.
C. Litigation Fees and Costs
Should any litigation arise from disputes related to this Agreement, each Party shall bear their own litigation costs, unless the court orders otherwise.
VI. Miscellaneous Provisions
A. Non-Waiver
The failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
B. Amendments
Any modifications or amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both Parties. No verbal agreements or changes shall be valid unless documented in writing.
C. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of

Each Party releases the other from all claims, demands, and causes of action that may arise from or relate to the marriage, except as expressly stated in this Agreement.
E. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
F. Entire Agreement
This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the Parties concerning the subject matter hereof. All prior agreements, discussions, or understandings, oral or written, are superseded by this Agreement.
VII. Signatures
The Parties have carefully reviewed this Divorce Settlement Agreement, fully understand its terms, and voluntarily agree to its provisions without any duress or coercion. This Agreement is executed freely and with the intention of resolving all matters related to their divorce. By signing below, each Party affirms their commitment to honor this Agreement in its entirety.
