Independent Contractor Agreement

Introduction

This Independent Contractor Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made effective as of January 15, 2050, by and between [YOUR COMPANY NAME], a company organized and existing under the laws of California with its principal place of business at [YOUR COMPANY ADDRESS] (the “Client”), and Alexandra Reed, an independent contractor residing at 789 Elm Street, Apt 202, Springfield, IL 62701 (the “Contractor”). This Agreement outlines the terms under which the Contractor will provide freelance services to the Client.

1. Scope of Work

The Contractor agrees to perform the following services for the Client:

• Develop a new website design for the Client’s e-commerce platform.

• Provide ongoing support and updates for six months post-launch.

2. Term of Agreement

This Agreement will commence on February 1, 2050, and will continue until August 1, 2050, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Section 6 of this Agreement.

3. Compensation

4. Confidentiality

5. Independent Contractor Status

The Contractor is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee, agent, or partner of the Client. The Contractor will be solely responsible for all taxes and other obligations arising from their compensation.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Client will pay the Contractor for all work performed up to the date of termination.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California.

9. Miscellaneous
