Article I: Name and Purpose
Section 1: Name

The purpose of this cooperative is to provide affordable access to essential goods and services, promote sustainable practices, enhance the economic well-being of its members, and foster community engagement through collaborative initiatives.
Article II: Membership

Membership is open to all individuals, families, and businesses residing within California who support the cooperative's mission.
Section 2: Admission
Prospective members must complete an application form and pay a one-time membership fee of $50. Membership applications will be reviewed by the Board of Directors.

Article III: Meetings

Article VII: Amendments

These bylaws may be amended at any regular meeting by a two-thirds vote of members present, provided that notice of the proposed amendment has been given in writing at least 30 days prior to the meeting.
Article VIII: Dissolution

In the event of dissolution, the assets of the cooperative shall be distributed in accordance with applicable laws and after the settlement of all debts. Any remaining assets shall be donated to a local nonprofit organization with a similar mission.

Notice of dissolution must be provided to all members at least 60 days prior to the meeting where the dissolution will be discussed.
