This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts, techniques, and historical context of the visual arts. Students will explore various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media. Regular attendance is crucial for success in this course. Students are expected to attend all classes and participate actively in discussions and activities. More than two unexcused absences may result in a lower final grade.
Assignments are due on the specified dates. Late submissions will receive a penalty of 5% per day, up to a maximum of one week. Assignments submitted more than one week late will not be accepted without prior approval from the instructor.
The University’s policy on academic integrity will be strictly enforced. Any form of plagiarism or cheating will result in a zero for the assignment and potential disciplinary action.
