RECITALS
WHEREAS, the Caterer is in the business of providing catering services and is willing to provide such services to the Client under the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises herein contained, the parties agree as follows:
I. Services Provided

II. Compensation
A. Payment Terms

Total Cost: The total cost for the catering services shall be [$15,000] (Fifteen Thousand Dollars).

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [$3,000] (Three Thousand Dollars) is required upon signing this Agreement to secure the event date.

B. Additional Charges

Additional Guests: Should the number of guests exceed the estimated number by more than [10], the Client will be charged an additional $75 (Seventy-Five Dollars) per extra guest.
III. Responsibilities of the Parties
A. Caterer Responsibilities

Food Preparation: The Caterer shall prepare, serve, and manage all food and beverage services as outlined in this Agreement.

Staffing: The Caterer shall provide adequate staff, including chefs, servers, and bartenders, to ensure a seamless event experience.

Equipment and Supplies: The Caterer will provide all necessary equipment for food service, including serving dishes, utensils, table linens, and disposable service ware.

Health Regulations: The Caterer shall comply with all health and safety regulations and obtain any necessary permits for the event.
B. Client Responsibilities

Access to Venue: The Client shall provide access to the venue on the day of the event at least [3] hours prior to the start time.

Dietary Restrictions: The Client shall inform the Caterer of any dietary restrictions or special requests no later than December 1, 2050.

Venue Conditions: The Client shall ensure that the venue has adequate facilities for the Caterer’s needs, including access to water, electricity, and waste disposal.

Security: The Client is responsible for providing security for the event, if necessary.
IV. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Client: If the Client cancels the event [30] days before the event date, the Caterer shall retain the deposit.

Cancellation within [30] Days: If the cancellation occurs within [30] days of the event date, the Client shall be responsible for [50%] of the total cost.

Cancellation by Caterer: The Caterer reserves the right to cancel the Agreement if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to natural disasters or severe illness. In such cases, the Caterer will refund all payments made by the Client.
V. Liability

Limitation of Liability: The Caterer shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the Client's event, except for those caused by the Caterer’s negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnification: The Client shall indemnify and hold the Caterer harmless from any claims or damages arising from the Client’s event, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or any claims made by guests.

Insurance: The Caterer shall maintain liability insurance covering all services provided under this Agreement.
VI. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of [Your State].
VII. Miscellaneous
