WHEREAS, the Owner desires to obtain dog grooming services from the Groomer for their pet(s) as detailed below; and
WHEREAS, the Groomer agrees to provide said services under the terms and conditions set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Services Provided
The Groomer agrees to provide the following services to the Owner's pet(s):

Bathing and Drying: Includes shampooing and conditioning using products suitable for the pet’s skin type.

Nail Trimming: Clipping and filing of nails to prevent injury to the pet and damage to household items.

Ear Cleaning: Gentle cleaning of the ear canals to remove dirt and wax buildup.

Brushing and Combing: Removing tangles and mats, and promoting healthy skin and coat.

Haircuts: Custom styling based on the pet’s breed and Owner’s preferences (if applicable).

Flea and Tick Treatments: Application of treatments as requested by the Owner, which may incur additional charges.

Other Grooming Services: Any additional services requested by the Owner and agreed upon by the Groomer in writing.
Note: Additional services not listed above may incur extra charges, which will be disclosed to the Owner prior to the service.
2. Pet Information
The Owner agrees to provide the Groomer with the following information regarding the pet(s) to be groomed:

The Owner certifies that all information provided is accurate and complete. The Groomer reserves the right to refuse service if the Owner provides false or misleading information or if the pet is deemed unfit for grooming due to health concerns.
3. Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Appointment Scheduling: Grooming appointments will be scheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time. The Owner is encouraged to arrive on time; tardiness may result in a shortened grooming session or rescheduling.

Cancellation Policy: The Owner must provide at least [24] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of [$0]. Repeated cancellations may lead to the inability to schedule future appointments, and the Owner may be required to pay in advance for future services.
4. Fees and Payment
The Owner agrees to pay the Groomer for services rendered as follows:

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, and electronic payment options. The Groomer reserves the right to request a deposit for certain services.
5. Liability Waiver and Indemnity

The Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Groomer, its employees, and agents from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from or related to the grooming services provided, including but not limited to any injuries sustained by the pet during the grooming process.

The Owner acknowledges that grooming involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to, cuts, nicks, or other injuries that may occur. The Groomer shall not be held liable for any injuries that occur during the grooming process unless due to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
6. Health and Safety Policy

The Owner certifies that their pet(s) are healthy and free from any contagious diseases. The Groomer reserves the right to refuse service to any pet displaying signs of illness or distress, including but not limited to excessive barking, aggression, or illness symptoms.

The Owner agrees to disclose any behavioral issues that may affect the grooming process, such as anxiety or aggression. The Groomer will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the pet(s) and the staff but cannot be held liable for any incidents that occur due to undisclosed behavioral problems.
7. Photography and Marketing

The Owner grants permission for the Groomer to take photographs of the pet(s) before, during, and after grooming for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, and marketing materials. These photographs may be used in perpetuity.

If the Owner prefers that their pet(s) not be photographed, they must provide written notice to the Groomer prior to the grooming appointment, and the Groomer will make reasonable efforts to respect this request.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State]. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of [Your County/City], [Your State], and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
9. Termination

10. Severability

11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral. Any modifications to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties to be effective.
