RECITALS

WHEREAS, the Service Provider offers professional dog grooming services;

WHEREAS, the Client desires to utilize the Service Provider’s services for grooming their dog(s) as outlined in this Agreement;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

The Service Provider agrees to provide the following grooming services (the “Services”) for the Client’s dog(s):

  • Bathing

  • Brushing and De-shedding

  • Nail trimming and filing

  • Ear cleaning

  • Teeth brushing

  • Styling and haircutting

  • Other grooming services as requested by the Client (subject to additional fees)

The specific Services to be provided shall be determined based on the Client’s instructions and the condition of the dog(s) at the time of grooming.

2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding the dog(s), including but not limited to, health status, behavioral issues, and grooming preferences.

  • Ensure that the dog(s) are current on vaccinations as required by the Service Provider. Proof of vaccinations may be requested prior to grooming services.

  • Notify the Service Provider of any health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect the grooming process.

  • Arrive for the appointment on time or provide timely notice if unable to attend.

3. APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Scheduling: The Client may schedule grooming appointments by contacting the Service Provider via phone, email, or the Service Provider’s website.

  • Cancellation Policy: The Client must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee of [$0].

4. FEES AND PAYMENT

  • Pricing: The Client agrees to pay the Service Provider for Services rendered based on the pricing schedule provided. The prices for specific Services may vary based on the size, breed, and condition of the dog(s).

5. HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • The Service Provider will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the dog(s) during grooming. However, the Client acknowledges and agrees that accidents and injuries may occur during grooming, and the Service Provider shall not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages incurred during the grooming process, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. LIABILITY WAIVER

The Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Service Provider, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the grooming services provided, including but not limited to, any claims for injury or damage to the dog(s) or any other person or property.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall the Service Provider be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the Services provided under this Agreement, even if the Service Provider has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The total liability of the Service Provider under this Agreement shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the Services.

8. PHOTO RELEASE

The Client grants the Service Provider permission to take photographs of their dog(s) during grooming sessions for promotional and marketing purposes. The Client may opt-out of this release by providing written notice to the Service Provider prior to the grooming appointment.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information exchanged during the term of this Agreement. This includes but is not limited to, the Client’s personal information, the Service Provider’s business practices, and any other sensitive information.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of any dispute arising under this Agreement, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to submit to mediation before seeking any other legal remedies.

11. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
