Position Overview
The Professional Cashier plays a critical role in the financial management of our retail operations. Responsibilities

Cash Handling: Maintain a balanced cash drawer and ensure all transactions are accounted for. Responsible for counting money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change.

Inventory Support: Assist with stock management and inventory control. Notify management of stock shortages, discreetly handle stock takes, and support the sales team in placing new inventory on shelves.

Compliance and Security: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers and staff. Be vigilant and alert to potential security risks and report any issues to management immediately.
Qualifications

Work Environment: The Professional Cashier will primarily work indoors in a retail store environment. This position may require standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting of items up to 20 pounds. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
