SIMPLE JOINT WILL

Introduction

This is the Last Will and Testament ("Will") of Maria Turner and Lawrence Orn, residing at Denver, CO 80202. We declare that this Will reflects our joint wishes and is intended as our legally binding instructions for the distribution of our estate upon our passing.

Declaration

We hereby revoke all previous Wills and Codicils made by us, jointly or individually, and declare this document to be our joint and mutual Will.

Appointment of Executors

Primary Executor

We appoint Lester Nolan, residing at Houston, TX 77001, to serve as the Executor of our Will. If Lester Nolan is unable or unwilling to act, we appoint Floyd Cremin, residing at San Francisco, CA 94102.

Distribution of Estate

We direct that our estate, following the payment of all debts, taxes, and expenses, be distributed as follows:

  1. Johann Harvey, son, residing at Denver, CO 80202, to receive 40% of the estate and the family home located at Denver, CO 80202

  2. Sigmund Corwin, nephew, residing at Houston, TX 77001, to receive 20% of the estate and $10,000 in cash.

If any beneficiary predeceases us, their share of the estate shall be distributed according to their last will, or if none exists, it shall pass to their legal heirs.

Residual Estate

The remainder of our estate shall be distributed equally among our living children. If we do not have any surviving children, the residual estate shall be passed to Sigmund Corwin.

Guardianship of Minor Children

If we leave any minor children at the time of our passing, we appoint Trace Durgan as the legal guardian responsible for their care and well-being.

Funeral Arrangements

We request that our funerals be conducted in accordance with our religious beliefs and that our remains be cremated at Seattle, WA 98101.

General Provisions

  • All taxes, debts, and administrative expenses shall be paid from the estate before distribution to the beneficiaries.

  • We do not intend to impose a bond on our Executor or any successor Executor.

  • If any provision of this Will is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.
