Multilateral Trade Agreement
BETWEEN
Republic of Aurelia, Kingdom of Bellvista, and Federation of Carroway

I. PREAMBLE
This Multilateral Trade Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is entered into by and between Republic of Aurelia, Kingdom of Bellvista, and Federation of Carroway, collectively referred to as the "Parties," with the intent to promote economic cooperation, enhance trade relationships, and reduce trade barriers in accordance with principles of mutual benefit and international law.
The Parties recognize their shared objectives of fostering sustainable development, encouraging economic growth, and ensuring equitable trade practices.
II. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them:
Goods: All tangible products that are traded between the Parties.
Services: All intangible offerings, including but not limited to financial, legal, and consulting services, exchanged between the Parties.
Tariffs: Customs duties and taxes imposed on imported or exported goods.
Non-Tariff Barriers: Regulatory measures other than tariffs that restrict or complicate trade.
Dispute Settlement Mechanism: The procedures established under this Agreement to resolve disputes between the Parties.
III. OBJECTIVES
To eliminate or reduce tariffs and other barriers to trade among the Parties.
To promote fair competition and transparent trade practices.
To foster cooperation in areas such as technology, intellectual property rights, and sustainable development.
To establish a framework for resolving trade disputes amicably and efficiently.
IV. SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT
This Agreement shall apply to:
Trade in goods and services.
Investment and intellectual property.
Technical barriers to trade and regulatory cooperation.
Rules of origin and customs procedures.
V. TRADE LIBERALIZATION
A. Reduction of Tariffs
Each Party agrees to progressively reduce or eliminate tariffs on goods originating from other Parties in accordance with Annex A of this Agreement.
B. Elimination of Non-Tariff Barriers
The Parties shall refrain from adopting or maintaining non-tariff barriers that are inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement.
C. Special and Differential Treatment
Developing Parties to this Agreement may receive special concessions as outlined in Annex B.
VI. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Parties agree to:
Protect and enforce intellectual property rights in accordance with international treaties and agreements.
Promote technology transfer and innovation through cooperative initiatives.
VII. DISPUTE SETTLEMENT MECHANISM
Consultation: Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through mutual consultation.
Arbitration: If consultations fail, disputes may be referred to arbitration under rules outlined in Annex C.
Binding Decisions: Arbitration decisions shall be binding on the Parties.
VIII. IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING
A Joint Committee comprising representatives from each Party shall be established to oversee the implementation of this Agreement.
Regular reviews shall be conducted every 5 years to ensure the objectives of this Agreement are being met.
IX. AMENDMENTS AND TERMINATION
Amendments: This Agreement may be amended only with the written consent of all Parties.
Termination: Any Party may terminate its participation in this Agreement by providing 12 months' written notice to the other Parties.
X. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Confidentiality: Information shared under this Agreement shall remain confidential unless otherwise agreed.
Force Majeure: No Party shall be held liable for failure to comply with obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control.
Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by International Trade Law.
XI. SIGNATORIES
