YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITY PLAN
Activity Title: "Creative Expression Workshop"

Age Group: 12-18 years
Objective:
The aim is to actively engage young people in activities that encourage creative expression through various arts and crafts. This approach focuses on fostering skills such as teamwork, communication, and self-expression within a supportive and enjoyable environment.
Materials Needed:

Markers, colored pencils, paints

Canvas or large paper sheets

Craft supplies (glue, scissors, fabric, glitter, etc.)

Music (optional for atmosphere)

Projector (for visual inspiration)
Agenda:
1. Welcome and Ice Breaker (15 minutes)

Greet participants and introduce the activity plan.

Icebreaker Game: "Two Truths and a Lie" – each participant says two true things and one false statement about themselves, and others guess the lie.
2. Introduction to Creative Expression (10 minutes)

Brief explanation about the importance of creative expression in mental and emotional well-being.

Discuss how different forms of art can help express feelings and ideas.
3. Group Activity: Art Project (45 minutes)

Participants will be divided into small groups and tasked with creating a collaborative mural or canvas painting.

Each group will be given specific themes to explore in their artwork.

Encourage everyone to contribute ideas and designs for their group’s artwork.
4. Reflection Time (15 minutes)

After the art projects, each group will present their work and explain what it represents.

5. Snack Break & Social Time (20 minutes)
