1. Purpose of Agreement
The purpose of this Apprenticeship is to provide hands-on experience and formal instruction in the art and techniques of tattooing, by the standards and practices of the tattoo industry.
2. Apprenticeship Duration
The apprenticeship will commence on January 15, 2050, and end on January 15, 2052, unless terminated earlier by either party by the terms of this Agreement.
3. Apprenticeship Responsibilities
Mentor's Responsibilities:
To provide consistent training, guidance, and supervision in all aspects of tattooing, including, but not limited to, design, sanitation, equipment handling, and client communication.
To assist the apprentice in developing technical skills and knowledge necessary for becoming a professional tattoo artist.
To provide access to tattoo equipment, materials, and a clean and safe working environment.
To issue feedback on progress and provide corrective actions, if necessary.
Apprentice's Responsibilities:
To attend all scheduled work shifts and training sessions, being punctual and prepared.
To complete tasks as assigned, including assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the studio, preparing equipment, and observing procedures.
To adhere to health and safety regulations, including sanitation practices and appropriate use of tattoo equipment.
To demonstrate commitment to learning and improving tattoo skills.
To respect the confidentiality of client information and business practices.
4. Compensation
The apprentice will receive compensation of $500 per week.
Other Benefits: The apprentice will receive a tattoo kit after completing the first six months of apprenticeship and have access to professional development workshops.

This Agreement may be terminated by either party under the following circumstances:
By the Mentor: If the apprentice fails to meet the expectations outlined in the Agreement, including consistent attendance, poor performance, or violation of safety standards.
By the Apprentice: If the apprentice decides to end the apprenticeship early, they must provide a written notice of at least 4 weeks.
7. Intellectual Property
The apprentice acknowledges that any original tattoo designs or artwork created during the apprenticeship may be owned by the mentor or the studio, depending on the nature of the design and the agreements made with clients.
The apprentice may not use these designs or artwork for personal gain unless expressly authorized by the mentor.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding studio operations, client information, and any proprietary techniques or practices learned during the apprenticeship.
9. Indemnification and Liability
The apprentice agrees to hold harmless the mentor and the tattoo studio from any claims arising out of the apprentice’s actions, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or damage caused by negligence.
10. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to enter into mediation or arbitration.

Amendments: Any changes to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of California, USA.
