The apprenticeship will begin on January 10, 2050, and will end on January 9, 2053, lasting a total of 3 years.
This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions under which the Apprentice will be trained as a tailor. The Apprentice agrees to learn the craft of tailoring, including but not limited to:
Sewing, cutting, and fitting techniques
Fabric types and patterns
Garment construction
Quality control and finishing
Customer service skills for tailoring services
During the apprenticeship, the Apprentice will be trained in various aspects of tailoring. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Learning and assisting in garment measurements
Assisting with pattern-making and alterations
Operating sewing machines and other equipment
Assisting with fabric selection and garment construction
Completing assigned tasks under supervision
The Employer will provide both theoretical and practical training.
The Apprentice will receive the following wages during the term of the apprenticeship:
Starting wage: $15.00 per hour
Any wage increases will be determined at the Employer’s discretion based on performance and progress in the apprenticeship.
The Apprentice will work a total of 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary according to the training schedule and tasks at hand, but will not exceed 40 hours per week.
The Apprentice will be supervised by a qualified tailor or a designated supervisor who will ensure that the Apprentice is receiving the appropriate training and guidance.
The Employer agrees to provide training and supervision as specified.
The Employer will maintain a safe working environment.
The Employer will provide materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the training.
The Apprentice agrees to follow the rules and policies of the Employer.
The Apprentice agrees to attend all training sessions and work as required.
The Apprentice must maintain punctuality and professionalism during the apprenticeship.
The Apprentice agrees not to disclose confidential business information learned during the apprenticeship.
Either party may terminate this apprenticeship agreement for any reason, with or without cause, with a notice of 30 days.
Reasons for termination may include:
Failure to meet performance standards
Unexcused absenteeism or tardiness
Breach of contract terms
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the Employer will provide a Certificate of Completion stating that the Apprentice has satisfactorily completed the training.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed by the laws of Fashion State.
The Agreement is binding upon both parties and their respective heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
Any amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
