1. Purpose of Agreement
The purpose of this Apprenticeship Agreement is to set out the terms and conditions under which the Apprentice will work and learn at the Employer's business as part of an apprenticeship in the beauty industry.
2. Duration of Apprenticeship
The apprenticeship will commence on the 15th day of January 2050, and end on the 15th day of January 2052, unless terminated earlier by the provisions of this agreement. The total duration of the apprenticeship is 24 months.
3. Job Title and Duties
The Apprentice will be employed as a Beauty Therapist and will be required to:
Perform beauty services under supervision (e.g., facials, makeup application, massages, etc.)
Assist in preparing workstations, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean environment
Attend training sessions and workshops as part of the apprenticeship program
Provide excellent customer service by company standards
Follow health and safety protocols
4. Training and Development
The Employer agrees to provide on-the-job training, including but not limited to:
Hands-on practice with experienced professionals
Access to training materials and workshops
Mentorship and guidance throughout the apprenticeship period
Regular assessments to track progress and performance
The Apprentice agrees to attend all required training and development sessions and to apply their learning to improve their skills.

The Apprentice will work 40 hours per week. The working hours will be as follows:

The Apprentice will receive a salary of $20 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The salary will be subject to applicable taxes and deductions as per the law.

7. Employer's Responsibilities
Provide a safe and supportive work environment
Ensure that the Apprentice receives the necessary training and support to develop skills in the beauty industry

Comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations
8. Apprentice's Responsibilities
Attend all required training sessions and work shifts as scheduled
Perform all duties to the best of their ability
Follow the company’s policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
Communicate any issues or concerns with the Employer on time
Respect confidentiality, customer privacy, and workplace health and safety
9. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this Apprenticeship Agreement with notice, as follows:
In cases of gross misconduct, either party may terminate the agreement without notice.
10. Completion of Apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the Apprentice may be offered permanent employment as a Beauty Therapist or may receive a certificate of completion for the apprenticeship program.
11. Miscellaneous
Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality about any sensitive business or client information.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this agreement should be resolved through mediation by the laws of Glamour City, BC.
Amendments: Any changes to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
